IDKC CAMP

A successful karate camp. Thanks to the passion of the parents and students, the event was both enjoyable and enlightening.

KWF SA NATIONAL CHILDREN & YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP

Congratulations to our kids that competed in the National Championships on Saturday, June 3. We had nine karatekas who participated:

Warona Maluleka, Yash Chatrooghoon, Suhayl Osman, Ayden Strever, Besma Aissani, Ava Isted, Kayla Thomas, Nsika Nkosi, Ethan Strever, and Alex van der Merwe.

Well done to them for participating among almost 150 students. Our pupils held their own, earning four bronze medals in the areas listed below:

INSTRUCTORS IN JAPAN

Two of our Instructors were invited to compete at the KWF 10th World Cup and World Conference. The 13th to 15th October 2023 saw an opportunity for our instructors, Sensei Sudesh and Sempai Devashen, to participate in the 10th KWF World Cup 2023. Sensei Sudesh also took the opportunity to obtain his International Qualifications for an Instructor, Examiner and Referee.

IDKC's third round and final of interschools took place on Saturday, November 11, 2023. We are extremely proud of our karateka and all the effort and training they put in.
