The IDKC practices traditional Shotokan Karate and aims to preserve the values and principles envisioned by Gichin Funakoshi, the founder of modern day karate. This is upheld by technical integrity, regular international participation and open exchange of ideas.
Ian Duncan, Chief Instructor of TSKSA, is affiliated to the World Traditional Karate Organization, which is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence and the advancement of Shotokan Karate.
